Radha Yoga Youth Outreach held its 4th annual Silent Auction this November 22nd at City Hall. Thanks to all of our fabulous donors, supporters and karma yogis, Radha Yoga Youth Outreach has raised over $6000. What a success! 

First and foremost we would like to thank all the volunteers who have  contributed so much to RYYO over the years. Their dedication and vision is truly inspiring!

At the auction, a live band played oldies and more contemporary favorites for shoppers as they buzzed around the room bidding on items, giving the event a lively energy that was infused with a warm community feeling.

Delicious food and warm drinks were served throughout the afternoon event ⎯ provided by the amazing Silent Auction committee and countless local businesses whose generous spirits contributed greatly to the success of this event.

Alex Munter did a fantastic job of MC-ing the event. He has a knack for getting people excited about youth-related community projects and also for getting people to bid on items. There was a palpable energy in the air, with many long-time supporters returning to offer their support and many people new to our organization who walked into City Hall for some respite from the Santa Claus parade.

The money raised at this year’s Silent Auction will go toward supporting the free and low-cost yoga classes being offered at 20 agencies in Ottawa this year, supporting the emotional growth, relaxation and personal development of hundreds of children and youth in the Capital region.
